We are seeking a extremely enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join a team in a premium hotel..
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking chef to join a strong team in a premium hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- Comply with all HACCP legislation and documentation
- Work well within a large team
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Follow all set up and close down procedures
- Control cost and minimise waste
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- To complete all temperatures checks and record them accurately
- To complete all daily/nightly/ weekly cleaning schedule
- To record all food waste in preparation and assembly areas on appropriate waste sheets
- To attend training session both on job/off job
- To attend all staff meeting
- To work all rostered hours
- Any other duty necessary in the successful execution of your position
- Following directions and examples of Head chef and Sous Chef
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Fast professional speed at busy periods
- Communicating with FOH management to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction
- Relay all issues to Head chef or Sous Chef
- Adhere to checklists provided, keeping the kitchen clean and orderly at all times
- Following training plans set out by Head Chef
Key Skills & Attributes:
- 2 years previous experience at CDP level
- Level-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a positive attitude
- Approachable with excellent people skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of initiative
- Ability to multitask
- A desire to progress as a Chef
- Versatile and willing to learn
- Excellent time management essential
